EnviroMate Jet Wash Bay

Safeguard the Enviroment

EnviroMate wash bay systems have been specifically developed for cleaning of plant and machinery in collaboration with plant hire companies in the MHE and industrial sectors.

The EnviroMate system efficiently captures and contains wastewater generated during the process of jet washing or steam cleaning of plant and equipment. The captured water undergoes a thorough 8-stage filtration and treatment process, allowing it to be reused multiple times in the cleaning bay. This not only significantly reduces water consumption during operations but also eliminates the discharge of wastewater into drains or the surrounding environment, which is of critical importance. Rainwater harvesting happens naturally in the design, with an optional auxiliary rainwater collection tank can also supplied and your system can be run on close to zero water charges. The EnviroMate is triple treated with zinc plating, powder coated, with a further grease resistant coating applied on installation.

The EnviroMate system boasts a modular design that can be easily tailored to fit any space, allowing for simple installation and dismantling for enhanced workspace flexibility. This makes it an ideal choice for leased premises, ensuring the investment remains future-proof. The EnviroMate range starts from a compact size of 1.3m x 3.3m, perfect for attachment or parts cleaning, and extends to larger sizes such as 3.3m x 6.5m for cleaning larger equipment. Custom sizes can also be accommodated upon request. The standard bases have a capacity of up to 10,000kg, while higher capacity bases are also available. Additionally, an optional hydraulic folding ramp is offered to further minimise the system's footprint and provide an additional front-facing spray guard.

Captures, Contains, Filters & Reuses

Waste and debris are washed through the bay troughs into a full-length collection tank where the first three stages of filtration occur. Perforated steel plates progressively filter out the larger debris when its pumped automatically up to the Settlement tank. These settlement tanks are sized to match the individual demands of the cleaning equipment. Water flow is timed to provide sufficient settlement and cleaning to take place, even under the busiest wash environments. A series of filters gradually remove the remaining oil contaminants and suspended solids during the staged settlement and weir operations. Before passing through the fine live filter, the water is lightly chlorinated ready to be reused. An on-demand boost pump ensures a consistent flow rate to the jet wash regardless of use and water head levels.

True to the SpaceMate brand, the filtration tanks in the EnviroMate are specially designed to minimise its footprint. Stacking the tanks on top of each other whilst ensuring easy access for tank cleaning, the overall footprint of the EnviroMate solution is significantly reduced.

Weekly topping of the chlorine system and periodic removal of debris from the collection tank, typically every 2-3 months with tools provided and disposed of via the usual waste services.

SpaceMate is working with the authorities to further enhance the operation of the EnviroMate to be 100% compatible with the current EM system further future proofing against obsolescence.
